Austria, probably Vienna, circa 1800. Alarm clock with original protective travel case. Hand-painted enamel dial with a motif of the four seasons. Fire-gilded bronze case with figural decoration; four feet with zoomorphic stylization (dolphin figures). Movement in working order; 1-day duration; verge escapement; quarter striking (4/4) on bells; alarm function. Steel hands. Alarm clock dimensions 21 × 13 × 6.5 cm; overall dimensions with case 23 × 14.5 × 9 cm.
