Vienna Barock Telleruhr – Mathias Kerkhamer Wien
Austria, Vienna, early 18th century, large wall plate clock, wrought-iron dial plate fitted with silvered brass sheet richly decorated in relief, brass dial with Roman numerals and minute divisions with Arabic numerals, movement with spring drive and striking mechanism that strikes the full hours on a metal bell, verge escapement with pendulum oscillator positioned in front of the dial, the oscillator rigidly connected to the pallet arbor, pierced hands of brass and steel, rear movement backplate engraved and signed Mathias Kerkhamer Fecit Vienna, the movement housed in a brass case with three turned feet, overall dimensions of the clock 54 × 38 × 10 cm.
